Therapeutic Bath

Therapeutic Bath

This therapeutic bath is unlike anything that has ever come before and is expected to provide medical benefits. It is a warm-water mix of high-concentration carbonated spring water and the concentrated hot spring “Le Furo,” which is a concentration of more than 40 types of hot spring agents which are 100% natural.

Rockface Sauna (Isness)

Rockface Sauna (Isness)

We have developed an automatic löyly that generates steam by dropping water on heated rocks. The löyly will raise your body temperature and promote healthy perspiration.

Mud Pack

Mud Pack

We offer free mud packs at both our men’s baths and women’s baths. Excavated from mountains in the Tsukinuno district of Nishimurayama-gun in Yamagata Prefecture, this natural mud contains rich amounts of montmorillonite, a mineral which leaves your skin feeling smooth.

Water carried directly from the famous hot spring Hakuju-no-yu

Water carried directly from the famous hot spring Hakuju-no-yu

For the men’s outdoor bath and the women’s tsubo-yu bath, we use fountainhead water from Hakuju-no-yu, a spring that wells from the paleozoic strata 750 meters underground. This strong chloride water contains large amounts of sodium. This water excels at providing lasting warmth, delivering outstanding results for people who feel chills or fatigue.

*Ofuro Café Bivouac heats and adds water in order to adjust concentration.

Please note the following.

  • ●Intoxicated individuals and individuals with tattoos cannot enter or stay in the facilities.
  • ●Individuals with infectious disease cannot enter or stay in the facilities.
